AVG 8 is not so hard to uninstall. However, when its own uninstall function has broken, it is extremely hard to remove it manually, for it has several drivers installed in the system. Now, Perfect Uninstaller’s Force Uninstall function will find all drivers and remove them easily.

Method One, Uninstall AVG

(most recommended when your AVG is a full version)

• Find the AVG in the program list, press “Uninstall”.

         

• AVG is running its own uninstall program

         

Method Two, Force Uninstall AVG

(most recommended when your AVG is corrupted or half-installed)

• Navigate to the directory of AVG C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8, right click the folder “AVG8″ and select “Force Uninstall” from the right-click menu, Perfect Uninstaller will launch instantly as follows, press “Next” to go.

         

• Perfect Uninstaller has found the drivers’ position in the registry information and the auto-running program, press “Next” to remove or stop them.

         

• After the removal of drivers and shutting down the auto-running program, Perfect Uninstaller found the directory of AVG again and removes the other files.

         

• Perfect Uninstaller found all the AVG files and registry information in the related directory, press “Next” to remove.

          

 

• Finished the above steps, AVG disappears from the program list, and AVG has been uninstalled successfully.
